Smugglers’ Notch Resort, Vermont

Nestled in northern Vermont, Smugglers’ Notch Resort offers a wealth of amenities, activities and family programs. Families can stay in condominium-style locations in one of the resort’s five communities. Lodging accommodations range from 1- to 5-bedroom residences featuring woodland or mountain views. Some Smugglers’ Notch communities have indoor and outdoor heated pools, exercise facilities and game rooms.

Summer activities at Smugglers’ Notch include visits to the farmers’ market, scavenger hunts and poolside fun. High Peaks Resort, New York

Located in Lake Placid within Upstate New York’s Adirondack Mountain region, High Peaks Resort is a great vacation option for families. The Summit Hotel, also offering slopeside accommodations, is being transformed as well.

Families can enjoy Big Sky’s two zip-line tours, hiking and mountain biking for all levels of ability, mini golf and the Adventure Mountain’s Gemstone Mining and Marble Run for kids. The resort’s award-winning 18-home Big Sky Golf Course was designed by Arnold Palmer and offers scenic views.
