Unique Dining in Ridgeland 

Whether your group wants to celebrate over an intimate reunion dinner or a casual lunch, Ridgeland has many dining options for every palate and event.

Dogmud Tavern is Mississippi’s Premier Boardgame Tavern. Gather and geek out over traditional bar foods with a unique twist and names that pay tribute to the wizardry that inspired them. The Lily Pad Cafè is a not-for-profit restaurant that will employ and train young adults with developmental disabilities. Their menu features a little of everything, from salads to flatbreads to favorite kid’s fare. They are conveniently located next door to The Mustard Seed in the historic Railroad District. 

From breakfast and gourmet coffee shops to burgers and pizza pies, Renaissance at Colony Park is the perfect family-friendly location for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! A few favorites include Scoopdeedoo Ice Cream, Mochinut Donut Shop, Basil’s, Aplos Simple Mediterranean (with outdoor green sitting area), Renaissance Malco Cinema Grill & Bar, The Whimsy Cookie Company, Zea Rotisserie & Bar, and Another Broken Egg Café.   

Northpark is an indoor shopping center that offers a variety of food court and dessert vendors. A small children’s play area is located on the first floor and an interactive play space at the food court. The B&B Theater across the street also has a large play area inside a theater for kids! Soulshine Pizza Factory, located at The Township at Colony Park, is a lively local pizzeria chain featuring a menu of creative pies, po’boys and more, plus live music. At EATS Diner, kids eat FREE on Tuesdays! The diner serves breakfast all day, and lunch and dinner, offering classic comfort food that appeals to everyone in your group.  

Casual restaurants include Cock of the Walk, voted Best Catfish and Best Cornbread in Mississippi by Mississippi Magazine. Located near Old Trace Park, it has an outdoor deck overlooking “The Rez” and provides private dining, group menus and catering. Crabs Seafood Shack serves fresh seafood and offers an outdoor deck and an upstairs private venue. 

Fine dining options include Anjou, a refined yet relaxed choice with a warm atmosphere & patio serving French bistro favorites and wine. CAET [seafood | oysterette] is a buzzing kitchen/wine bar at Renaissance at Colony Park that features eclectic tapas, cocktails, and craft brews in upscale surroundings. Local 463 Urban Kitchen serves Southern fare and seafood in an upscale-casual, modern atmosphere with huge windows and a sophisticated bar area.
