The resort’s 45,000-square-foot Pirates Island Waterpark is a highlight for families, featuring enormous water slides, a surf simulator, a fun-filled lazy river, water cannons and more. During my recent stay, parents and grandparents commented on how much kids and teens loved spending time at the waterpark. The nearby 50s-style diner, food trucks, and a kids’ swim-up bar make it easy to stay and play all day.

Dining at all venues is included as part of the Beaches vacation experience. Guests can opt for a wide variety of cuisines, including French, Italian, Japanese, Caribbean and Southwestern. Three restaurants are designed for adults and children 12 and older. Restaurant hours vary, so check in advance.
Some restaurant settings offer memorable al fresco dining, including Neptunes, Sky, Schooners and Barefoot by the Sea. The popular Kimonos restaurant is the only dining venue where reservations are necessary.

The extensive reefs and clear turquoise waters around Providenciales make it an excellent destination for snorkeling and diving.
All certified divers at Beaches Turks and Caicos can enjoy unlimited all–inclusive scuba diving, which is an incredible value for diving families. Fee-based PADI Discover Scuba courses are also available for non–certified guests, and children can participate in age-appropriate scuba programs as well.
Included Kids Camps for All Ages
Beaches Turks and Caicos offers exceptional, industry-leading Kids Camp programs for children of all ages. These daily programs are included in the resort’s all-inclusive rate. Kids Camp activities are tailored for each age group, and all programs are fully supervised by INA and IBCCES certified nannies and Kids Camp team members. Beaches Kids Camps are also Advance Certified Autism Centers with trained staff and age-specific programs.
Kids Camp programs are available for infants (ages 0-2), toddlers (ages 3-4), younger children (ages 5-7), older school-age kids (ages 8-10), tweens (ages 11-14), and teens (ages 15-17) at two Kids Camps on property. Activities range from treasure hunts and arts and crafts for younger children to parties and sports activities for older kids. Teens have their own “nightclub” with karaoke, too.

Families can head out on a cruise aboard the luxurious 65–foot “Kitty Katt” catamaran to go snorkeling, see endangered rock iguanas at Half Moon Bay, and have fun plunging into the water on the catamaran’s built–in tube slide. Island Routes also features ATV adventures, kayak tours, sightseeing trips and more.
Families can also enjoy other memorable experiences, such as Sesame Street VIP Upgrade Packages. These unique events include Sesame Street Sunrise Yoga, “Meet & Greet” sessions with Elmo & the Gang, and fun-filled character breakfasts.
